A database of currently funded equine research projects established by
the AAEP Foundation, AQHA Foundation, Grayson-Jockey Club Research
Foundation and Morris Animal Foundation. Its goal is to provide a
central listing of currently funded research projects to foster
collaboration and the exchange of information. In 2006, the four
foundations joined with other foundations and equine researchers from
some of the nation’s leading universities to formally launch the Equine
Research Coordination Group whose mission is to advance the health and
welfare of horses by promoting the discovery and sharing of new
knowledge, enhance awareness of the need for targeted research, educate
the public, expand fundraising opportunities and facilitate cooperation
among funding agencies. (This database contains only recent and current
research projects and is not an attempt to list all equine research
from all funding sources.)

Contains abstracts of 1474 equine medical research projects.
