Nancy Weis’s Website of the Week This week: Chaos and Joy

Sometimes Useful and Usually Educational But Always COOL

Improv Everywhere

“Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.”

Each mission is described with pictures and commentary, and many have short videos of the actions in progress. Particularly notable and very funny is “Frozen Grand Central”, in which 200 people froze in place in the main concourse of Grand Central Station.
